2006 marked the 40th anniversary of the Ovation guitar and the company rewarded its fans by producing exact copy reissues of 4 vintage models, including the legendary 1627 Glen Campbell Artist Balladeer.  Exact in almost every detail, the reissue 1627 is a stunning instrument right down to the vintage Artist depth bowl and stacked Volume/Tone electronics.  Other features include of course the bound ebony fretboard with diamond/dot markers, walnut bridge which houses the OOP pickup system, the floral rosette, gold Schaller tuners and the Glen Campbell signature truss rod cover.  Approximately 100 of these 1627 reissue guitars were produced in 2006-2007 and mine below was obtained through Lost Art Vintage Instruments.
