Glen Campbell Artist 1127-4

The Glen Campbell Artist Balladeer, model 1127, went through several transitions during the first few years of its production.  My guitar below, from early 1970, is the third generation configuration with the new shallower headstock angle, smaller truss rod cover and walnut traditional shaped bridge.  These features would remain standard on the various Glen Campbell models for the next 20 years.  The only obvious vestige to the second generation configuration is the paper Bloomfield label.  Additionally, this was the first Glen Campbell model to come with the new brown hardshell case.
